'Sabu' snow leopard painted on black leather and framed. Framed measurements approx 24" x 28 " (61cm x 71cm) and is framed as per the image.
Snow Leopard painted on black smooth leather.
With sincere thanks to David Whelan the photographer for giving permission to use one of his photographs as source reference material.
Painting fur means building up lots and lots of layers with many different colours but the end result is worth the many hours of creating the texture.
Although the painting may look monochrome black & white, there is quite a lot of colour that gives the painting depth. I like using greens, blues and purples, they give a lift.
The name 'Sabu' is the Tibetan word for Snow leopard.
Mainland UK postage included.
This painting does not require any glass - the leather is sealed to protect the image. So there will not be any 'reflections' or 'shadows' to spoil your viewing.
Sabu - snow leopard
Taking care of a painting on leather is easy - if it becomes dusty simply wipe down with a dry clean cloth. Do not use any cleaning products. As with any original artwork do not hang in direct sunlight or above an open fire as this can give off soot.
Refunds will be given once product is received back in good order. Any damages must be reported within 24 hours receipt of the item. Please see our full T&Cs regarding returns. Your statutory rights are not affected.
