Iron Maiden decoupage.
 
This is a tribute composition depicting the band Iron Maiden's single 'Aces High'.
 
This artwork is a collage comprising mainly of a commercially available model aircraft depicting the Iron Maiden Band concert Spitfire and original vinyl record.

This is one of my concept of completing and framing a model aircraft as a wall hung artwork. In this case the 1/32 scale Spitfire was released by the Revell model company in the Iron Maiden band livery along with two models of the 'Eddie' figurine.

I decided that as the concept was commemorate the 'Aces High' single I would get an original 1984 vinyl and complete the framed composition as a tribute piece.

After completing the model and figurines, I managed to get an original 'Aces High' single and arrange the composition around it and the record sleeve. After several iterations I decided on the layout.

The piece is in a custom box frame and ready to wall hang and comes from a smoke and pet-free environment.

The glazing is acrylic rather than fragile glass.
