Sweet Lips - art on leather painting. This unique hand painted on leather artwork measures 12" x 20" (approx 30cms x 51cms) box framed and ready to wall hang.

The corners are protected with luggage protectors to give it a quirky and unique finish. Inspired by wanting to create, in a realism style, an abstract painting morphing the brightness of a sweet/candy wrapper and voluminous lips. Hand painted on black leather to make best use of the tactile nature of the lightly textured leather to give depth to the art - that can also be touched as the artwork does not need to be behind glass. Therefore you will not have to take into account light relections from windows, lights etc.

The paint finish is the same as my art on leather jackets etc and uses a specialised technique using industry-leading materials.
